Shayne joined Callea Pearce in 2009 as a trainee lawyer after completing his studies in law with First Class Honours. Shayne has a keen interest in town planning, business and commercial law. Prior to studying law, Shayne completed a Bachelor of Business majoring in Commercial Law.

Before joining Callea Pearce, Shayne was employed for 5 years as an industrial relations advisor for the Workplace Authority advising the public and industry on workplace agreements, unfair dismissal related issues, employer obligations and employee entitlements. This experience sparked Shayne’s passion for employment law.

On weekends, Shayne field umpires senior football in the Essendon District Football League. Shayne has been umpiring football for over 10 years at a local and VFL level. Swapping his whistle for a racquet, Shayne also enjoys playing tennis.

Shayne is another member of our team who lives and works in the Western Suburbs.
